TODA Lindane Lotion USP 1% is a topical antiparasitic medication used for the treatment of scabies (mite infestation) and, in some cases, lice infestations. It works by killing the parasites and their eggs. Lindane is generally reserved for use when safer first-line treatments are ineffective or cannot be used.

Uses

• Treatment of scabies (Sarcoptes scabiei)
• Treatment of certain lice infestations under medical supervision
• Relief of itching and skin irritation caused by these infestations after successful treatment

How to Use

• Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin as directed by a healthcare professional.
• For scabies, it is typically applied from the neck down and washed off after the recommended period (usually 8–12 hours).
• Use only the prescribed amount and avoid repeated applications unless instructed by a doctor.

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken skin.
• Do not use more frequently than prescribed.
• Use with caution in children, elderly individuals, and those with seizure disorders.
• Not generally recommended during breastfeeding.
