ESO UP-Q40MG 14S CAP

ESO UP-Q 40 mg Capsules 14's contain Esomeprazole 40 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production. It is used to treat acid-related conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stomach ulcers, and erosive esophagitis.

Uses

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Frequent heartburn and acid reflux
• Erosive esophagitis
• Gastric and duodenal ulcers
• Prevention of NSAID-induced stomach ulcers
• Part of Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy (with antibiotics)
• Zollinger–Ellison syndrome (excessive stomach acid production)

Dosage

• Adults: Usually 1 capsule (40 mg) once daily, or as prescribed by a physician.
• The duration of treatment depends on the condition being treated.

How to take

• Take 30–60 minutes before a meal, preferably before breakfast.
• Swallow the capsule whole with water.
• Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule unless specifically instructed by a healthcare professional.

Precautions

• Long-term use may increase the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency, low magnesium, bone fractures, or certain intestinal infections.
